NorAm Gas Transmission Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in 
FERC Gas Tariff

December 18, 1998.
    Take notice that on December 14, 1998, NorAm Gas Transmission 
Company (ANGT) tendered for filing as

part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fourth Revised Volume No. 1, the following 
revised tariff sheets to be effective as indicated:

Docket No. RP98-259-001

2nd Sub Thirteenth Revised Sheet No. 5 Effective November 1, 1998

Docket No. TM99-2-31-001

2nd Sub Fourteenth Revised Sheet No. 5 Effective November 1, 1998
Fifteenth Revised Sheet No. 5 Effective December 7, 1998

    NGT states that the purpose of this filing is to reflect the change 
in effective date from November 1, 1998 to December 7, 1998 for the 
inclusion of its Electric Power Cost tracker in Overrun Rates in 
compliance with the Commission's December 4, 1998 Letter Order.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
