Fiscal Year 1998 Program Announcement; Availability of Funds and 
Notice Regarding Applications

AGENCY: Administration on Aging, HHS.

ACTION: Announcement of availability of funds and request for 
applications to carry out the functions of a National Resource and 
Educational Center on Women and Retirement.

SUMMARY: The Administration of Aging (AoA) announces that under this 
program announcement it will hold a competition for a grant award for a 
National Resource and Educational Center on Women and Retirement. The 
deadline date for the submission of applications is September 9, 1998. 
Public and/or nonprofit agencies, organizations, and institutions are 
eligible to apply under this program announcement. To be considered for 
funding, however, applicants must demonstrate a knowledge base, and a 
proven track record of experience, in issues and programs of relevance 
to women, economic security, and retirement.
