Currently, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms within the Department of the Treasury is soliciting comments concerning the Inventories: Licensed Explosives Importers, Manufacturers, Dealers and Permitees. Abstract: These records show the explosive material inventories of those persons engaged in various activities within the explosives industry and are used by the government as initial figures from which an audit trial can be developed during the course of a compliance inspection or criminal investigation. Licensees and permittees shall keep records on the business premises for five years from the date a transaction occurs or until discontinuance of business or operations by licenses or permittee. Current Actions: There are no changes to this information collection and it is being submitted for extension purposes only. Type of Review: Extension. Affected Public: Business or other for-profit. Estimated Number of Respondents: 13,106. Estimated Time Per Respondent: 2 hours. Estimated Total Annual Burden Hours: 26,212.
