National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation; Notice of Compliance Filing

November 17, 1998.
    Take notice that on November 12, 1998, National Fuel Gas Supply 
Corporation (National Fuel) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Fourth Revised Volume No. 1, the tariff sheets listed in 
Appendix A to the filing, with a proposed effective date of November 1, 
1998:
    National Fuel states that this filing is being made in compliance 
with the Commission's Letter Order issued on October 28, 1998, in the 
above-referenced docket [85 FERC 61,126 (1998)]. National Fuel further 
states that the revised tariff language provides that National Fuel's 
ability to discount is limited to rates between the applicable maximum 
and minimum rates for the service being provided.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
