The Commission will hear presentations on issues related to the Backcountry and Wilderness Management Plan, which serves as an amendment to the General Management Plan for Joshua Tree National Park, and will develop Commission by-laws. The Advisory Commission was established by Pub. L. 103-433, section 107 to advise the Secretary concerning the development and implementation of a new or revised comprehensive management plan for Joshua Tree National Park.
