On March 25, 1998, the FAA determined that the application to impose a PFC submitted by the city of San Jose was substantially complete within the requirements of section 158.25 of Part 158. The FAA will approve or disapprove the application, in whole or in part, no later than June 23, 1998. The following is a brief overview of the impose only application number 98-06-I-00-SJC: Level of proposed PFC: $3.00. Proposed charge effective date: September 1, 1998. Estimated charge expiration date: December 31, 2000. Total estimated PFC revenue: $35,000,000. Brief description of the imposed only project: Runway 12R-30L and Taxiway Connections Reconstruction to 8,900 feet. Class or classes of air carriers which the public agency has requested not be required to collect PFCs: Air Taxi/Commercial Operators (ATCO) filing FAA Form 1800-31.
