MEDICARE PAYMENT ADVISORY COMMISSION

 
Commission Meeting

AGENCY: Medicare Payment Advisory Commission.

ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: The Commission will hold its next public meeting on Thursday, 
October 29, 1998 and Friday, October 30, 1998 at the Embassy Suites 
Hotel, 1250 22nd Street NW, Washington, DC. The meeting is tentatively 
scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on October 29 and at 9:00 a.m. on 
October 30.
    The Commission will discuss payments to hospital outpatient 
departments and physicians, graduate medical education, and setting and 
updating payment rates. Several sessions will be devoted to discussion 
of the Commission's plans for work on issues affecting the 
Medicare+Choice program.
    Agendas will be mailed on Friday, October 16, 1998. Final agenda 
will be available on the Commission's web sites (WWW.MedPAC.GOV).
