ACTION: Notice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: Under section 10(a)(2) of Public Law 92-423, ``The Federal Advisory Committee Act,'' notice is hereby given that a conference call of [[Page 56643]] the Right-to-Know Working Group of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council (NDWAC) established under the Safe Drinking Water Act, as amended (U.S.C. S300f et seq.), will be held on November 4, 1998, from 1-4 p.m., EST. The call will be held at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 401 M Street, S.W., Room 1209 East Tower, Washington, D.C., 20460. The call is open to the public, but seating will be limited. The purpose of this call is to agree on recommendations of the Right-to-Know Working Group to the NDWAC at its November 17-18, 1998, meeting. The Working Group met September 24-25, 1998, to analyze the public information and public involvement provisions in the Safe Drinking Water Act as Amended in 1996, and to identify products to recommend to the NDWAC through which EPA, States, water suppliers, and others could inform stakeholders and the public about the provisions, and suggest ways to assure that the provisions achieve the intent of the 1996 Amendments. Statements from the public will be taken on this call as time allows.
