    Type of Review: Extension.
    Title: Cash Management Improvement Act (CMIA) Annual Report and 
Direct Cost Claims.
    Description: States and territories must report interest owed to 
and from the Federal Government for major Federal Assistance programs 
on an annual basis. The data is used by Treasury and other Federal 
agencies to verify State and Federal interest claims, to assess State 
and Federal cash management practices and to exchange amounts of 
interest owed.
    Respondents: Federal Government, State, Local or Tribal Government.
    Estimated Number of Respondents/Recordkeepers: 56.
    Estimated Burden Hours Per Respondent/Recordkeeper: 500 hours.
    Frequency of Response: Annually.
    Estimated Total Reporting/Recordkeeping Burden: 28,000 hours.
