ACTION: Meeting of John Day-Snake Resource Advisory Council; Pendleton, Oregon; May 11 & 12, 1998. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: A meeting of the John Day-Snake Resource Advisory Council will be held on May 11, 1998 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Department of Natural Resources Conference Room on the Umatilla Reservation, and on May 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Inn, 304 SE Nye Ave., Pendleton, Oregon. The meeting is open to the public. Public comments will be received at 1:00 p.m. on May 12. The May 11 session will include a tour of Tribal Headquarters and a field trip to view conservation work on the reservation. The May 12 session will include the future RAC program of work, a review of the BLM Strategic Plan, approval of a subgroup nomination and selection process, an update of the John Day River plan subgroup and an update on the recreation fee demonstration areas.
