Notice of Availability of Plan Amendment and Public Meetings; 
Nevada

AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.

ACTION: Notice of availability.

SUMMARY: The Bureau of Land Management, Winnemucca Field Office, has 
completed an Environmental Assessment/Proposed Plan Amendment to the 
Paradise-Denio and Sonoma-Gerlach Management Framework Plans (MFPs). 
The proposed plan amendments reflect changes in management policy and 
guidelines, over the past 16 years. Public meetings to comment on the 
document will be held on March 3, 1998 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the 
Airport Plaza Hotel, 1981 Terminal Way, Reno, Nevada, and on March 4, 
1998 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Bureau of Land Management, Winnemucca 
Field Office, 5100 E. Winnemucca Blvd., Winnemucca, Nevada.

DATES: The comment period for the Environmental Assessment/Proposed 
Plan Amendments will begin with the date of publication of this notice 
and last 30 days.

ADDRESSES: Written comments must be submitted to the District Manager, 
Bureau of Land Management, Winnemucca Field Office, 5100 E. Winnemucca 
Blvd., Winnemucca, Nevada 89445, within 30 days after the date of 
publication of this Notice of Availability.
