ESH Coordinator Program

SHSD Homepage | ESH Coordinators

The Department Chair/Division Manager assigns a qualified Environmental, Safety, & Health (ESH) Coordinator for each of their facilities. The ESH Coordinator serves as the single point-of-contact for Environmental, Safety and Health related issues. ESH Coordinator meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month. If an ESH Coordinator cannot attend, they should send an alternate. Attendance is very important since these meetings are frequently used as training sessions. Guest speakers give presentations on specific topics to provide information to help the ESH Coordinators accomplish their responsibilities. These meetings are also used as a forum to address general questions and specific concerns.
