Willimantic Man Sentenced to Two Years in Federal Prison
for Illegal Possession of a Firearm

SEP 10 -- Kevin L. Lane, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration for New England and Nora R. Dannehy, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that ERIC TORRES, 27, of Foster Street, Willimantic, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Stefan R. Underhill in Bridgeport to 24 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release.  On April 4, 2008, TORRES pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon >> Full Story
