If you wish to plan a field trip to Monocacy National Battlefield, it will help you to know the following:

 

  • Visitor contact station capacity: 30 people
  • Restrooms: Available at visitor contact station only.
  • Audio visual presentation: 8 minutes, 12 person capacity
  • Picnic facilities: None
  • Ranger guided tours: Must be scheduled in advance
  • Length of tours/programs: Orientation programs are 20-30 minutes and are recommended for younger groups. Full battlefield tours are approximately 90 minutes and include more in-depth troop movement information.
