Materials For Loan

In addition to traveling trunks, the education office offers a number of other items available for loan through the Educator's Resource Library. The library is located in the education office in the basement of Hulls Cove Visitor Center. This library is available for classroom teachers, home schoolers, and youth leaders in the area, and materials may be checked out for a two-week period. More than 500 titles include texts on both natural and human history, activity guides, field guides, creative arts, children's literature, videos, audio cassettes, and vertical files.

Contact the education office ahead of time to make sure a staff person is available to assist you. When the visitor center is closed (November through April), contact the education coordinator at 207-288-8822 or via e-mail to make arrangements.
