Name: Lisa Burke   Title: Biological Science Laboratory Technician (Plants) Organization: USDA-ARS-MWA-PIRU Role/Crops/Team: Lisa Burke serves as the seed storage manager at the North Central Regional Plant Introduction Station. Her role is to insure the quality and safety of the seed stored in the cold vaults at the station. She also oversees the filling of seed orders distributed by the station. In addition she serves as a GRIN (Germplasm Resources Information Network) resource person for NCRPIS staff and external cooperators. Special Interests: Lisa's interest focuses on working on the GRIN database developing methods for using GRIN as a management tool for the seed inventories held in the stations coldrooms. Education: B.A. Biology, and minor in Geology, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, 1986. Employment History: 1991-Current: Seed storage manager at the NCRPIS.
