Role/Crops/Team:


Mr. Moore is one of two technicians for the maize project at NCRPIS.  His primary duties include: managing field and greenhouse regenerations of maize and its wild relatives, managing the post-harvest processing of regenerations from Ames as well as from collaborating growers, and working to provide detailed morphological descriptions and images of the accessions in the maize collection.





Special Interests:


Mr. Moore is currently working on techniques for isolating teosinte to control cross pollination.  Trent is also developing digital training materials for teaching maize processing and other tasks to student employees.

  B.S. Technical Systems Management, University of Illinois, Urbana, 2005.
