The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) establishes policies, priorities and objectives for the nation’s drug control program, which strives to reduce illicit drug use, manufacturing and trafficking; drug-related crime and violence; and drug-related health consequences. To achieve these goals, ONDCP establishes a plan, budget and guidelines for cooperation among Federal, state and local entities. Drug-free workplace programs are included among ONDCP’s prevention and education initiatives. A variety of fact sheets, statistical information and other services are available through ONDCP’s Drug Policy Information Clearinghouse.
