2009 Foundation Golf Classic

The 2009 “Foundation Golf Classic” promises to be a great event on one of the most unique golf courses in the country. The “Foundation Golf Classic” will be held at The Quarry Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, January 10, with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The Golf Classic is a great opportunity for sponsors and Farm Bureau members to network while showing their support for Agricultural Literacy and Awareness efforts.

2009 Silent Auction

The American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture needs your donation.

This event is a terrific opportunity for you to support the Foundation and our mission of “building agricultural awareness and understanding through education” by donating item(s) to the Silent Auction. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) affiliate of the American Farm Bureau Federation that has been in existence for more than 40 years, working on behalf of agriculture to “Secure our Future.” We believe education is a long-term solution to public policy and consumer issues.

The excitement of the auction atmosphere provides a great opportunity for your organization to gain even more visibility and brand recognition. In addition to your item being on display in the auction area, you will be recognized on the Foundation website and in promotional materials for this year’s auction. Last year we had a wide range of items including art, quilts, craft items, model farm equipment, tools, clothing, food items, gift certificates and commodity baskets.

It is now time to complete the form and it return to our office by December 10, 2008.

2009 Flapjack Fundraiser

The Foundation Flapjack Fundraiser will take place on Monday, January 12, 2009 in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Flapjack Fundraiser, now in its 5th year, will provide attendees a delicious pancake breakfast with all the trimmings and the reveal the Foundations Book of the Year Award. We are expecting more than 1000 Farm Bureau members and leaders to be at this year’s event.
