Assistant Secretary for Mine Safety and Health to Hold Media Update
Investigation Team Leader To Be Introduced [10/12/2001]

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. -Assistant Secretary of Labor for Mine Safety and Health Dave D. Lauriski will hold a news media update briefing on Monday, Oct. 15, at 4:00 p.m. at the Mine Safety and Health Administration's Birmingham, Ala., office regarding the ongoing recovery efforts and investigation into the explosion at the Jim Walter No. 5 Mine.

EVENT: Media update briefing with Dave Lauriski, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Mine Safety and Health, regarding ongoing recovery efforts and investigation into mine explosion at the Jim Walter No. 5 Mine as well as introduction of investigation team leader Ray McKinney.
