Qualifications and Requirements
 
Limited Permit Qualifications
  • Application Fee
  • At Least 18 Years Old
  • Pass Approved Course in Radiation Use and Safety
  • Pass Approved Course(s) in Anatomic Area(s)
  • Complete Approved Practical-Experience Program
  • Pass OBRT Examinations in Radiation Use and Safety, and Anatomic Area(s)
 
License Qualifications
  • Application Fee
  • Current Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent
 
Permit and License Requirements
 
Every licensee or permittee shall maintain on file with the Board their correct current residence address and name. OAR 337-010-0008.
 
Expired Oregon Licenses and Limited Permits
 
An R.T. license which has been expired for more than five years may be reissued only in the manner prescribed for an original license. There are renewal fees and delinquent fees for both Licenses and Limited Permits. Verification is required of a least 12 clock hours of Continuing Education during expiration period.
