Measures 37 and 49 Administrative Rules
June 3, 2008
On May 2, 2008, the Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) adopted permanent administrative rules regarding Ballot Measure 49 (2007).
The rules replaced - and in some cases repealed, amended or supplemented - the temporary rules adopted by LCDC in December 2007 and February 2008, which interpret and implement Ballot Measures 37 (2004) and 49.
The rules were filed with the Secretary of State and took effect on May 23, 2008. On or about June 15, the Secretary of State (Archives Division) will post the final versions of the rules on its website, and those official versions will be linked to the DLCD website here:

2008 Housekeeping Amendments
April 23, 2008
On March 21, 2008, the Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) adopted a number of minor or technical "housekeeping" amendments to several administrative rules and one goal. The amended rules and goal were filed with the Secretary of State and took effect on April 18.
These amendments were adopted in order to conform the rules or goal to state laws, or to respond to court or LUBA opinions, or to update or clarify existing rule provisions.
On about June 15, the Secretary of State (Archives Division) will post the final versions of the amended rules on its website, and those official versions will be linked to the DLCD website here:

Metro Urban and Rural Reserves (SB 1011, 2007)
Feb. 19, 2008
On January 24, the Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) adopted new administrative rules for Metro Urban and Rural Reserves, as required by 2007 legislation (SB 1011). LCDC also adopted amendments to conform other existing rules.
The new and amended rules took effect on February 13.
