Action Items:

1. Cadets must return turnout gear ASAP. Cadets with outstanding maintenance hours must complete them by the end of finals.

2. Underclass portraits will take place from 1000-1800 in the Fifth Co. study lounge today Dec 5th, 6th Co. 2/C - Dress Blues.

Information:

1. Duty Company today 6th Co; ASDO 0800-1530 LT White 1530-0800 LT Kelley.

2. All 3/C moving into 3rd Co must attend a meeting Tue 6 Dec at 0630 in the 3rd Co study lounge.

3. Paid Holiday Watches are filling up. The following are available: December 24th-1600-2400; December 25th-0000-0800 & 0800-1600; December 31st-1600-2400; January 1st-0000-0800; January 2nd-0000-0800. Please stop by and see Mrs. Annie Hammerle in the Harrington Bldg.

4. Mandatory meeting for all winter term residents Wed 17 Dec at 0650 in the Fantail. Anyone taking classes and living in the dorms must attend.

5. Library will be open on Sat 6 Dec and 13 Dec from 1200 to 1900; library will be open Sun-Thur until 2300.

6. The 2008 yearbooks may be purchased for $60. See LT White

7. Dress Down Day 12 Dec. Tickets will go on sale outside the messdeck today $2 for students, $5 for staff.

8. All 3/C shuffled into 4th Co please see LT Schwartz for room assignments no later than 10 Dec.

9. 1/C LICENSE TRACK: Reminder: 1/C Firefighting Lecture Date has been changed to Tue 9 Dec at 1900 in Admirals Hall.

10. 3/C MT STCW HELMSMAN ASSESSMENT meeting/signup on Mon 8 Dec at 1530 (Room 304 Harrington). Bring your finals schedule to this meeting.

Other Info:

Every year MMA cadets work together to raise money for the Dept of Children and Families in order to help families who cannot afford to celebrate the holidays. As economic times get tougher, more and more families struggle. Any support you and your family may provide will create a better holiday season for local families. Please bring any donations to your Company Officer before 12 Dec.

Children's Cove Christmas toy drive:Please donate new unwrapped toys to Children's Cove. Donations may be placed in boxes in Alumni Gum or in the Harrington Building. Deadline 15 Dec.

Cadets eligible for work study participating in Sea Term may apply at the Financial Aid Office in Blinn Hall. Scholarship funds are available, all are need based.

'Cup of the Bay' will be taking over the Fantail from 1900-2300 Monday-Thursday, selling coffee, ice cream, wraps, soups and sandwiches.
