The indvidual investor must be protected by reasonable statutes and laws. Those must be enforced. As President Bush says, "Accountability". Mutual Funds, absolutely must disclose how they are voting the shares of the fund investors. There is no other possible logic that can be rationally applied. This disclosure is critical to any valid governance of the corporation, and the fiduciary responsibilities of the fund. I believe that as an owner of a mutual fund, I am entitled to know how my proxy is being voted.
