As a member of the public with investments in mutual funds, pension 
plans, etc., I am very much in favor of the disclosure required in 
the SEC proposed rule. 

Proposed Rule:
Disclosure of Proxy Voting Policies and Proxy Voting Records by 
Registered Management Investment Companies
Securities and Exchange Commission
17 CFR Parts 239, 249, and 274

As an economist concerned with avoiding corruption and distortions 
of free economic institutions, I also favor the proposed rule.
