On the left side of the chart heights from 4 feet ten inches to six feet six inches are listed. Across the bottom pounds are listed -- from 50 pounds to 275 pounds. BMI (Body Mass Index) is computed by finding where your height and weight intersect on the chart. Three areas of the chart are shaded to show the range of Healthy Weights, Overweight, and Obese.

• Healthy Weight: BMI from 18.5 up to 25 refers to healthy weight.
• Overweight: BMI from 25 up to 30 refers to overweight.
• Obese: BMI 30 or higher refers to obesity.
