National Rehabilitation Hospital
The designation of BlazeSports came to the nationally ranked rehabilitation hospital in 2003. Their program kicked off with a BlazeSports Day on Wheelchair Tennis, August 2, 2003. The programs offered are tennis in the summer and fall and basketball in the fall and winter. These programs are for community members and are in addition to the numerous daily programs and special events held for the hospital’s inpatient and outpatient clients.
The National Rehabilitation Hospital has been hosting two special events for many years now. One is a Tennis Tournament that runs in early August each year. The other is a Basketball Tournament that runs in early October. Look for these events and more to continue each year.
