Hospitality Initiative

The DBTAC: Mid-Atlantic ADA Center, together with the national network of regional DBTACs, launched an initiative to promote accessibility and opportunity for people with disabilities within the hospitality industry. This page includes targeted materials and resources. To obtain materials in print or accessible formats, request training, or learn more about the initiative, contact us or your own regional DBTAC.

The Opening Doors® program provides training to improve customer care and workforce initiatives by including persons with disabilities.

The Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality (SATH) works to promote travel opportunities for people with disabilities.

The Open Doors Organization (ODO) promotes accessibility in the business community and has conducted market studies related to the travel and hospitality industries.

The National Center on Accessibility (NCA) offers information on access to outdoor recreation and tourism.
