DESCRIPTION:
Modify school curricula and policy to increase the amount of moderate or vigorous activity, increase the amount of time in PE class, or the amount of time students are active during PE class. Interventions to increase the amount of physical activity during PE class include changing activities taught (i.e. substituting soccer for softball). This intervention is effective in increasing physically active behavior and is strongly recommended based on scientific evidence.
