Competitive Index 2007: Indicators of Oregon´s Global Economic Competitiveness (pdf)   
In early 2007 the Oregon Business Council and the Progress Board released the 2007 Competitive Index.  Once again, Oregon is scrutinized nationally on measures of innovation, people, place, and productivity.

2006
Competitive Index 2006: Indicators of Oregon´s Global Economic Competitiveness (pdf)  
In late 2005, the Progress Board collaborated with the Oregon Business Council to produce the 2006 Competitive Index. The 2006 Complex Index compares Oregon to other states using indicators to measure the state's general well being, traded-sector cluster health, pioneering innovation, people, place, productivity, and public finance.

2005
Competitive Index 2005: Indicators of Oregon´s Global Economic Competitiveness (pdf)   
In late 2004, the Progress Board collaborated with the Oregon Business Council to produce national rankings on 54 indicators, reframed to focus first on Wellbeing indicators (like like income disparity, unemployment and per capita income), traded sector industries, then on four the 4Ps, key drivers of traded sector health: People, Place, Productivity and Pioneering Innovation.

In late 2003, the Progress Board worked with the Oregon Business Council to produce national rankings on 41 indicators relating to the "4P´s": People, Place, Productivity and Pioneering Innovation. A fifth category one "Well Being" addressed 8 additional indicators.

Customer Satisfaction Final Report (pdf)   
The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) formed the Customer Satisfaction Workgroup to provide guidance to all state agencies in meeting the charge contained in the 2005-07 Budget Instructions: to measure how well agencies satisfy their customers. This report provides a starting point to assist agencies in designing, conducting, and analyzing customer satisfaction surveys. Informing Our Nation: Improving How to Understand and Assess the USA’s Position and Progress  Oregon´s benchmarks and performance measure work is featured prominently in this study by the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO), which examines: The state of the practice in these systems in the United States and around the world; lessons learned and implications for the nation; and observations, options, and next steps to be considered if further action is taken. In the fall of 2002, the Oregon Progress Board provided this data in support of the Oregon Business Council´s Oregon Business Plan, which was launched statewide to speed Oregon´s recovery from the recession that worsened after the events of 9-11. The planning process was organized around the "4P´s": People, Place, Productivity and Pioneering Innovation, key drivers of a healthy economy.
