Assessment and evaluation is difficult at best and understanding the
program goals that you must meet is probably the best starting point.  Are
we accomplishing what we set out to do?  How can we "measure" that.

Dr. Don Seaman at Texas A&M taught me a bit about evaluation and he runs a
center there for adult literacy and family literacy.  You can find more on
