My class just read "Make Lemonade" by Virginia Euwer
Wolff. It is a wonderful novel about a girl in the
inner-city who is determined to break the cycle and
get to college.
My class loved it and now we are looking for other
titles that will hold the interest of an adult, is
written at a low level and is medium in length (140
pages or so)
Any suggestions?
