Demographic and Socioeconomic Research Services
The International Programs Center (IPC) of the U.S. Bureau of
the Census conducts demographic and socioeconomic studies and
on a full cost recovery basis. Combining exceptional access to
foreign data with the expertise of our staff, we analyze a wide range
of demographic, socioeconomic, and health issues. These include:
- Population projections and trends for all countries of the world
and selected subnational areas.
- Tracking and projecting HIV/AIDS prevalence and assessing the demographic
consequences.
- Economic and social status of populations in transition to market
economies.
- Role and status of women.
