The NAER community site kit is a set of communications tools designed to help public health practitioners respond to potential asbestos exposure problems at those sites.
The tools are designed to:Educate concerned and affected populations about asbestos and the potential health problems from asbestos exposure
Build capacity among local health care professionals to provide care and information to community members affected by exposure to asbestos
Communicate with the media, government officials, and other stakeholders about NAER and public health issues related to asbestos exposure
For questions about the kit contact Charles Green, ATSDR, at 404-498-0297 or e-mail him at clg8@cdc.gov.
