Animal Germplasm Donations

NAGP is accepting donations of semen & embryos from the following:

 

  • Cattle
  • Sheep
  • Goats
  • Pigs
  • Chickens
  • Aquatic Species

 

We will usually accept up to 100 units of semen for any individual animal.  We can provide a shipper to pick up the material and we will pay for all shipping costs.

 

To arrange a shipment, please contact Carrie Welsh (Carrie.Welsh@ars.usda.gov or 970.495.3237) or Dr. Harvey Blackburn (Harvey.Blackburn@ars.usda.gov or 970.495.3268).  When contacting us, please include the breed, number of animals, and the number of units you are interested in donating as well as the location of the germplasm.
