- Maintain the public trust by developing, implementing, and managing programs that promote and ensure good stewardship.
- Dedicate resources to recruit, create and sustain a well-trained, professional acquisition workforce including career programs for procurement, finance and technical representatives service-wide (civilian and military).
- Create an environment that promotes innovation, empowerment, risk-taking, and maximizes use of technology in pursuit of the acquisition mission and vision.
- Analyze program needs and buying patterns for application of strategic sourcing opportunities and development of self-directed buying vehicles for the customer.
- Proactively integrate socio-economic programs into acquisition strategies.
- Manage by results utilizing a robust performance measurement program to improve organizational performance and productivity.
- Seek continuous improvement of acquisition management and processes towards achieving excellence in customer and employee satisfaction and high standards of business acumen.
