Coast Guard Accepts Second Response Boat-Medium
August 7, 2008 - Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment accepted the Coast Guard's newest multi-mission platform, Response Boat-Medium (RB-M) CG-45602, in Ilwaco, Wash., August 7, 2008, three days after celebrating the service's 218th birthday.

RB-M Project Marks First Delivery; Begins Operational Test & Evaluation Period
May 2008 - On April 7, 2008, Coast Guard Station Little Creek, Va., took delivery of the fi rst Response Boat-Medium (RB-M): hull No. CG 45601.

April 7, 2008 - The Coast Guard's newest multi-mission asset, the 45-foot Response Boat-Medium (RB-M), makes its debut at Coast Guard Station Little Creek Va., today.  

Acquisition Update: First Response Boat-Medium Delivered
March 31, 2008 - On March 31, 2008, the U.S. Coast Guard took delivery of its first Response Boat–Medium from Marinette Marine Corporation (MMC).

2006

Coast Guard Awards Response-Boat-Medium Contract
June 23, 2006 - The U. S. Coast Guard announced today the award of the Response Boat-Medium production contract valued at approximately $600 million to Marinette Marine Corporation of Marinette, Wis. Delivery of the first boat is expected in late 2007 and the Coast Guard expects to eventually purchase up to 180 boats over a period of up to eight years.
