BlazeSports Club Chattanooga/City of Chattanooga Parks, Recreation, Arts and Culture
The City of Chattanooga Parks, Recreation, Arts and Culture (PRAC) located in Chattanooga, Tenn. was named BlazeSports Club Chattanooga in 2003. PRAC has been offering sports and recreation opportunities to individuals with physical disabilities since 1992 when they assisted in the development of an adapted water canoe program.Since then, PRAC has started an adapted soccer program, sponsored adapted golf tournaments and water ski clinics, and supported Chattanooga’s local adult wheelchair basketball team. PRAC kicked off their BlazeSports programs in the spring of 2003, hosting a BlazeSports Day that featured nationally ranked tennis player Tiffany Geller. |
