Obviously detailed information about the costs of a product should be reported to parties being solicited. Where isnt this done--the medical profession where costs are SO out of balance with what people would be willing to pay that the country is approaching a health care crisis? Any time the free market is subverted, and NOT reporting actual costs is one of them, market inefficiencies accrue.

Dont give in to the special interests that wish to push product--your job is to protect the market and to protect the public.
