Summary of Law(s) and Regulation(s):
Benefits will be denied when an accident substantially results from the use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or prescription drugs used in contravention of doctor’s instructions, the presence of which creates a rebuttable presumption that they are the cause of the accident. Employees are deemed to have consented to testing by performing services for the employer.
