Training & Educational Materials

Working Partners offers a variety of resources, such as brochures, presentation materials, articles and fact sheets, and posters, to help employers provide drug and alcohol education in the workplace. All Working Partners materials may be reproduced and distributed without additional permission from the U.S. Department of Labor. Organizations are free to incorporate their names and/or logos on all Working Partners materials. Uses for the materials may include:

  • Educating employers about the value of and how to implement drug-free workplace programs
  • Supervisor training
  • Employee education
  • Inclusion in organizational publications
  • Payroll stuffers
  • Workplace displays
  • Posting on company intranets

Employer Education

    Ready-to-use slide presentation that community-based organizations, safety and health managers, human resource managers and others can use to educate business executives and other organizational decision-makers about methamphetamine, how it can impact the workplace and what employers can do to protect against the threats to safety and productivity by implementing drug-free workplace programs.

    Training program that helps employees learn when and how to help a co-worker (or family member or friend) who may have a problem with alcohol or drugs. Presented as a trainer's guide designed to facilitate positive discussion among participants.

    Pocket card for workers that discusses the importance of working drug-free and provides sources of help for those who may be struggling to do so.

  • Tool Box Talks
    A series of five brief speeches about the importance of working drug free, intended for delivery by foremen on construction worksites.
