Melton Hill Reservoir Scheduled for Drawdown, Cleanup

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. — The level of Melton Hill Reservoir will be temporarily lowered Saturday, March 27, through Saturday, April 3, to allow property owners to repair docks, stabilize the shoreline and assist with a reservoir cleanup.

TVA will hold the reservoir level between elevations 790 to 792 feet during the eight-day period.

Lakefront property owners and others may participate in the annual River Rescue cleanup event, which will be held on Saturday, April 3. It is sponsored by the Melton Hill Lake Users Association. For more information about River Rescue, contact Steve Lewis at 865-690-1475.
