TVA’s Campgrounds To Close for 2006 Season

TVA’s 11 seasonal campgrounds on reservoirs throughout the Tennessee Valley will close Nov. 13.

TVA’s day-use recreation areas remain open year-round.

Cherokee Reservoir
Cherokee Dam Campgrounds
Douglas Reservoir
Douglas Dam Headwater and Tailwater
Foster Falls (located near Tracy City in Marion County)
Melton Hill Reservoir
Upper and Lower sections
Norris Reservoir
Loyston Point
Normandy Reservoir
Barton Springs
Pickwick Reservoir
Pickwick Dam Tailwater
Watauga Reservoir
Watauga Dam Tailwater
Wheeler Reservoir
Mallard Creek
Wilson Reservoir
Wilson Dam Rockpile
