Public hearings scheduled

Dec. 15 -- KPDES Public Hearing on Coal General Permit

This permit action involves the reissuance of a general permit to address discharge of process and stormwater runoff from coal mining activities that enter waters of the commonwealth of Kentucky. The hearing will begin at 5 p.m. at 300 Fair Oaks Lane in Frankfort.

Dec. 16 -- KPDES Public Hearing on Stormwater General Permit

This permit action involves the reissuance of a stormwater construction permit to address discharges of runoff from construction activities that enter waters of the commonwealth of Kentucky. A hearing will begin at 5 p.m. at 300 Fair Oaks Lane in Frankfort.

Persons wishing to comment upon, support or object to these proposed permit actions are invited to submit comments to the Division of Water, Surface Water Permits Branch, 200 Fair Oaks Lane, Frankfort, KY 40601.
