About the Network
The Oregon Asthma Network is made up of physicians, nurses, parents, health plans, people with asthma, environmental organizations, respiratory therapists, government agencies, and others who are concerned about the disease in Oregon. The Network has over 1,600 members and serves as a forum for people to exchange ideas on ways to improve quality of life for Oregonians with asthma.

The Network's goals and priorities are found in the Asthma Leadership Plan.  Anybody with an interest in asthma is welcome.

Network Meetings
View meeting dates, agendas, and minutes on the Oregon Asthma Network Meetings webpage.
  • Statewide meetings.  Every year, the Oregon Asthma Network hosts a state-wide meeting on asthma.
  • Regional meetings:  Members of the Oregon Asthma Network participate in regional meetings and programs to learn about asthma resources and concerns at the local level.

  • The Physician Advisory Council on Asthma is a committee of experts who provide guidance to the Oregon Asthma Program in improving asthma care in the primary care setting.
  • Asthma Disparities Leadership Team provides guidance and support to Oregon's Asthma Disparities Project.  The three priority areas of the Leadership Team are to improve pediatric asthma surveillance, improve asthma self-management, awareness, and education among low-income children and their caregivers, and to improve access to care for low-income and at-risk children who have asthma.
