Long-Term County Forecast

The current long-term State and County population forecast was updated in April of 2004. The forecast includes population by age and sex, numbers of births, deaths, and net migration for Oregon and its Counties in five year intervals through the year 2040.

In a growing economy, long-term projections become increasingly important as the implications for resource utilization become understood. As new information becomes available and revision of the forecast is warranted, we will update the forecast. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Kanhaiya Vaidya at (503) 378-4967.
