ANNUAL REGION 6 MS4 OPERATOR'S CONFERENCES

Since 1999, an annual conference of Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) operators has been held in EPA Region 6 (AR, LA, NM, OK & TX). These conferences bring together representatives from municipalities, federal facilities, States, and EPA to learn about new regulatory developments and share ideas and experiences in developing and implementing storm water management programs to help protect our water resources.

2008 CONFERENCE DETAILS - CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES

This year's conference will be at the Waco Convention Center in downtown Waco, Texas and is being hosted by the City of Waco and the Texas Department of Transportation.  Planned activities include:

Sunday, July 13th - Optional Preconference Training Classes for Inspectors and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control

Monday, July 14th - Optional Preconference Training Classes for Inspectors, Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, and Storm Water 101: Introduction to the NPDES Storm Water Program

Tuesday, July 15th through Thursday, July 17th - 10th Annual Region 6 MS4 Operators Conference (full conference registration form has a summary of the agenda attached)

This year's registration rate will be $200 ($250 after June 1st) or $100 for a single day. There will also be a separate registration fees for the optional preconference courses (other than SW 101). Remember, the registration forms and fees are sent to our local hosts and not EPA.

A block of rooms haws been reserved at the adjacent Hilton Waco. The hotel is 8 miles from Waco Regional Airport and complimentary transportation is provided. To guarantee the conference rate of $99.00/night/single/double, you must reserve your room by June 14 (note that our hosts will be contacting hotel about wrong price on the web link above).
