Seahawks Transit Service

Posted September 8, 2008

For the September 14 & September 21 games, the Seahawks and Metro Transit are providing non-stop shuttle service from five area park and ride lots to Qwest Field. For only $4.00 each way, eliminate driving and parking hassles. See the Park & Ride Locations map.

Starting with the home game on October 12, Metro will continue to provide some of the Seahawks 2008 game-day premium P&R service, while other service providers will serve the remaining lots.

This is due to recent revisions in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations regarding charter service.

New information will be posted at this site when it becomes available.

Information available

Security information

  • No soft-sided containers, coolers, or large bags (bigger than 12" x 12" x 12") are permitted into Qwest Field and Exhibition Center. The Seahawks do not issue claim checks for bags. For specific event information, please call the First & Goal office at 206-381-7555. Also see the Stadium Guide [external link] for further information.
  • Personal belongings cannot be left on Metro buses.

Regularly scheduled transit service to & from Qwest Field

All Metro and Sound Transit Express regional bus service - including Sounder commuter rail - that travels into or out of downtown Seattle via 1st Avenue S, 4th Avenue S, the SODO Busway, 6th Avenue S or S Jackson Street, goes to within walking distance of Qwest Field.

Bus service in the SODO area is subject to reroutes when post-game traffic congestion affects streets around the stadium. Buses return to regular route when traffic clears.

Check a current paper timetable, the timetables in Metro Online, or use Metro's online Trip Planner by clicking on Qwest Field - this link autofills the destination point as "Qwest Field" in the Trip Planner. You can also call Metro's Customer Information line at 206-553-3000. Hearing impaired callers, please dial the Washington State Relay service at 7-1-1.

Note: The Trip Planner doesn't provide information about Premium Shuttle service or rerouted regular service. Special Shuttles are described below. Check for reroutes on a regular service route by looking for a Rider Alert button on its Metro Online timetable page.

Please pay the appropriate fare on all regularly scheduled transit service.
