Individual Records

HEER maintains separate files on individual facility/sites. Before making requests for individual files, we recommend that you first review the HEER Releases Lookup Spreadsheet and HEEER Sites of Interest Lookup Spreadsheet provided above to identify the file(s) that you are interested in.

To request a particular site file, please identify the file you wish to review, complete a Request to Access a Government Record form (gov-rec.pdf, 21 KB), and submit the form to HEER at the mailing address or fax number listed below. We will contact you to arrange a time for you to inspect the requested file. Please note that copies of records cost 5¢ per page.

Please note that the absence of information in HEER's files regarding releases of hazardous substances at a site does not provide relief from liability under the Hawai‘i Environmental Response Law, the U.S. Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, or any other applicable federal, state, or local laws.
