Department of Corrections Seeks Fugitive Julie Birkholz

The Oregon Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit is seeking information about Julie K. Birkholz, 40, who walked away from a work crew at Sutton Lake, north of Florence, Oregon in Lane County on July 16.
 
Birkholz is described as a white female, 5´4" tall, approximately 135 lbs, with short blond hair and green eyes. She has pierced ears with three holes on the left and two on the right. She also goes by the names of Julie Basye, Julie Bayse, and Julie Bohanan. Birkholz was last seen wearing khaki shirt and pants, a brown jacket and black work boots.
 
Birkholz was serving a 23-month sentence for delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance. Her projected release date was September 11, 2002.
 
Birkholz is believed to be in the Springfield, Eugene or Marion County areas. Anyone with information about her whereabouts should call 9-1-1 or the Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit at 503-945-9030.
